Worldwide establishment of Safe-Hubs

OLIVER KAHN FOUNDATION sup­ports the world­wi­de esta­blish­ment of Safe-Hubs in order to moti­va­te and sup­port soci­al­ly dis­ad­van­ta­ged child­ren and young peop­le with the power of foot­ball. Each cen­tre is con­side­red a safe pla­ce and has a foot­ball field and an edu­ca­tio­nal faci­li­ty. A coa­ching pro­gram­me and coa­ches are pro­vi­ded to sup­port young peop­le in their per­so­nal deve­lop­ment.

The coa­ching pro­gram­me incor­po­ra­tes the fun­da­men­tal huma­ni­s­tic ide­as of a holi­s­tic edu­ca­ti­on and upbrin­ging and is based on the value code and the life of Oliver Kahn. Uniform qua­li­ty stan­dards, a com­mon phi­lo­so­phy, con­ti­nuous trai­ning of young peop­le, moni­to­ring of the coa­ching pro­gram­me imple­men­ta­ti­on, and eva­lua­ti­on of the pro­gress ensu­re the qua­li­ty assuran­ce of the Safe-Hubs. They are requi­red to sustainab­ly empower soci­al­ly dis­ad­van­ta­ged young peop­le.

Statue & Purpose

Oliver Kahn Foundation was recognis­ed by the govern­ment of Upper Bavaria on 04 July 2011. It is in par­ti­cu­lar com­mit­ted to pro­mo­ting deve­lop­ment and edu­ca­ti­on and to you­th wel­fa­re.

Guided by the mot­to “Empowering young peop­le”, it is the objec­tive of the foun­da­ti­on to gui­de peop­le, and in par­ti­cu­lar young peop­le, to recognise, to defi­ne, to imple­ment and to live per­spec­tives, visi­ons and goals. The foun­da­ti­on offers assis­tan­ce to sustainab­ly imple­ment one’s own goals. To this end, the foun­da­ti­on deve­lops its own pro­gram­mes on a natio­nal and inter­na­tio­nal level. It car­ri­es out pro­jects and trai­ning cour­ses and sup­ports and pro­mo­tes simi­lar exis­ting and new pro­gram­mes of others, par­ti­cu­lar­ly on moti­va­ti­on, men­tal streng­th and dea­ling with defeats.

The objec­tive of the foun­da­ti­on is rea­li­sed by the fol­lo­wing mea­su­res on a natio­nal and inter­na­tio­nal level:

deve­lo­ping and car­ry­ing out pro­gram­mes and pro­jects, sup­porting and pro­mo­ting pro­gram­mes of tax-privileged ent­i­ties or of public legal ent­i­ties, coope­ra­ti­on with third par­ties, in par­ti­cu­lar with schools, uni­ver­si­ties, other foun­da­ti­ons and other pos­si­ble coope­ra­ti­on part­ners dea­ling with the foun­da­ti­on objec­tives, and publi­ca­ti­ons.

The foun­da­ti­on may also pro­vi­de finan­ci­al or mate­ri­al resour­ces to tax-privileged ent­i­ties, insti­tu­ti­ons and foun­da­ti­ons or to appro­pria­te public aut­ho­ri­ties, if mea­su­res are pro­mo­ted with the resour­ces.
